Vero Beach Asphalt Plant Supplies Contractors Across Four Treasure Coast Counties

VERO BEACH, Fla.: Engineered Asphalt Materials (EAM), a Gencor-equipped asphalt plant on the Treasure Coast, supplies paving contractors, developers and public agencies across four counties: Indian River, Brevard, St. Lucie and Martin. Communities served include Vero Beach, Sebastian, Fellsmere, Gifford, Melbourne, Palm Bay, Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie and Stuart.

The plant, at 500 2nd St SW in Vero Beach, produces a full range of engineered asphalt materials, including hot mix asphalt, Superpave gradations such as SP-9.5, SP-12.5 and SP-19, polymer-modified mixes, base mixes, specialty mixes and RAP-blended mixes. Specifications are confirmed per project.

Local production for a growing region

EAM was built to give Treasure Coast crews a local source of consistent, durable asphalt. The company's stated mission is to supply Indian River County with consistent, durable and environmentally responsible asphalt while providing fast turnaround and dependable service.

The central Vero Beach location keeps production close to the jobs it serves. Gencor equipment provides stable temperature control and precise mix accuracy, and quality control takes place on site, with mixes sampled and tested during production and checked against each project's specification.

Pickup, delivery and planning tools

Contractors can schedule pickups directly at the plant Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, on a first-come, first-served basis, with weekend and after-hours loading available by request. Loads are weighed on FDOT Certified scales. Delivery can be arranged through local trucking partners.

Contractors can also estimate quantities with the free asphalt tonnage calculator on the EAM website and submit project details through an online mix design request form on the contact page.

Who EAM serves

EAM works with road and highway contractors, residential and commercial paving companies, developers and site contractors, municipalities and county governments, and HOA and private-road managers throughout the four-county area. Typical uses include road resurfacing, new roadway construction, parking lots and commercial pads, community and HOA paving, driveways and private lanes, and utility and patch work. For contractors unsure which mix fits a job, the EAM team recommends the mix type, grade and tonnage based on the application and traffic load.
